Learning French part 2

After about 6 months of Pipiri and I reading French children's books together...(read more Here about when we first started learning this beautiful language)....listening to CDs...and listening to French children's songs...I decided it was time to find a French tutor.

I found a wonderful wonderful wonderful tutor for Pipiri! 

She has a Masters degree in French, lived in France for many years, and is a mom of 5 daughters! She is warm, creative, fun, loving, and a perfect fit for teaching Pipiri.

She has been coming to our house teaching Pipiri for over two years...once a week for about 45-60 minutes. 

They basically play, do funny games, songs, read stories...all in French.

Pipiri has learned so much from her...and absolutely jumps for joy when she sees her.

I would say at this point she knows probably 400-500 words in French and is learning many phrases, poems, and songs. She has a delightful little French accent when she reads her French books. 

Learning a foreign language has been a wonderful experience...I am so glad that we chose French. 

We love Madame Green and could not be happier when she comes to visit!
