How I stay acne free all year round

Summer seems to be the hardest to keep my acne under control.  Read me more here about how I stay acne free. And here and here - to learn about my acne story.

Humidity, extra sunscreen, hats, sweat...pool...more sunscreen...read more here about why I stopped tanning and how I protect my skin.

I try to stay ahead of the game.

I try to be even more diligent about my routine. And I leave my two cleansers on for 30 seconds to a full minute longer than usual.

I also will use my bpo on my cheeks, chin, and I will add my forehead 2-3x a week and I skip the retinols on those nights.

I change my pillow cases 2-3x a week...helps to keep any sunscreen that has gotten in my hair off my face. Read more here about how I finally fixed my thinning hair!

I wash my makeup brushes 1x a week and lay them flat to dry. Helping to rid them of any narly bacteria.

I clean my nose piece of these and  these sunglasses daily with a teensy bit of alcohol and I clean my iphone the same way. I love these sunglasses when I run - they don't slide off my nose when I am a sweaty mess!!

I always wash my hats after each run in hot water.  Read more here about how I cover up and protect myself and Pipiri from the sun...And the ones I can't wash I will swipe them with alcohol if I can around the rim.

Seems like a lot of work...but it pays off to keep my skin acne free.
