I have done cardio of some sort or another 5-6 days a week for 45-55 minutes each session...for most of my adult life. Running, spinning, rolling stairs..and on opposing days have done full body strength training lifting weights workouts.
That routine has kept me fit.. Thin... Having Normal bloodwork.. Active.. Fitting into my clothes... Having excellent blood pressure...and Feeling good!!!!
BUT i needed something more..
A goal..
Something new...
For the past two weeks now i have been challenging myself to 6 days a week of cardio but less time. 30-35 minutes instead.
And the biggest change has been the way i lift weights.
I have been following this routine...
Which is so very different than the way i lift weights.
This routine does only 2-3 body parts at a time not full body.
So for example today i did biceps and back only. Many sets not just my usual 3 sets and move on..
With this one l do up to 6 sets of one exercise. I take 15-30 sec breaks and man oh man it is HARD!
But i am determined! And i am loving the challenge!!!
